Supporting Children and Youth Vulnerable to or Affected by Radicalization Leading to Violent Extremism (Tunisia)

During March 2019, Hedayah delivered its first capacity building training on preventing youth radicalization in Tunisia as part of its ongoing program for social workers, psychologists and educators working in Tunisia’s Child Detention Centers, Office of the Delegate for the Protection of Children, and Social Defence and Integration Centers.
This training represented the first phase of a complete three-phase suite and focused on theoretical knowledge and understanding of the issue of radicalization leading to violent extremism (RLVE) and core CVE approaches. Hedayah is developing and delivering the program in partnership with the National Counter Terrorism Commission of Tunisia.
