Countering Violent Extremism Through Communications in Kosovo and Kyrgyzstan
Building a culture of critical and reflective media consumption through tailored communication strategies can help counter dangerous violent extremist narratives.
Hedayah is implementing a strategic communications program in Kyrgyzstan and Kosovo to support the government, civil society, community and religious leaders, and young people to implement communication strategies and campaigns to counter extremism and violent extremism narratives.
The objective is to enhance government progress toward operationalizing their Countering Violent Extremism National Action Plan by developing and disseminating a strategic communications strategy and providing government entities with the knowledge and skills to engage, communicate and market their National Action Plan.
