In collaboration with the CVE Unit of the Commonwealth Secretariat, Hedayah organized a workshop to discuss additional knowledge- and skills-based lessons to include in the existing police academy curriculum to encourage community orientation throughout the police force.
Engagement with senior police leadership followed to ensure their support and appreciation of curriculum reform and to further highlight the connection between community policing and CVE.
